AnneLise Frydenberg is a Danish-born painter who often works in her studio in the South of France. She holds a degree in Interior Design. After also completing two years of the Architectural Degree course at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, she and her family moved abroad, and lived for various periods in several countries. AnneLise later settled in London, devoting herself entirely to her artistic career. She studied under John Watson at the Chelsea College of Art and pursued additional study courses in lithography, silkescreen printing and etching. AnneLise's paintings have been acquired by many of the major companies in Denmark and her works are also to be found in private collections throughout Europe as well as in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Canada and the United States. The creations are predominantly inspired by nature. However, the medium AnneLise selects greatly determines whether the image moves close to realism or is propelled into abstraction... |
